Welcome to the JSA blog for BMHS. Have you registered for the club officially yet? If you want to purchase a club T-shirt or sweatshirt this year, you must be a tax-paid member. See Mrs. DeLay in room 314 for info. Taxes are $5 and cover the entire year (not just one semester).
Also, you need to go to www.jsa.org/portal and create a portal account. If you already have an account but don't know your email, click on lost password and get a new one. Be sure that you have activated this portal account. JSA headquarters uses this information to verify membership status (colleges do verify if you include that information on your application). You will also need this portal account if you decide to attend any of the overnight conventions.
Club meetings are every Thursday in room 314 at lunch. Although the focus is generally current events and political debate, you are never required to speak at meetings and all points of view are welcomed and valued.
